About us?
We are a centre specialising in oral rehabilitation through the placement of dental implants. As well as in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the tissues that support the teeth: periodontal disease and gingivitis.
Services
Dental Diagnosis
Firstly, a medical history is taken for each patient, an exhaustive assessment of the tissues surrounding each of the teeth and in some cases a radiographic study to evaluate the level of the bone.
Dental cleaning
Daily dental cleaning at home is important, however, in-office cleaning is crucial to eliminate harmful bacteria that can cause oral diseases such as caries, gingivitis and periodontitis. It is recommended every 6 months, although it depends on each patient. This service is performed with an ultrasound. We perform this service with an ultrasound.
Treatment of diseases.
Periodontal disease in early stages can be treated with scaling and root planing in the dental office and hygiene care at home. However, in more advanced cases surgical treatment may be required in order to remove calculus from deep pockets.
Oral implantology
Is the discipline of dentistry that deals with the study of alloplastic materials within the jawbone to support dental rehabilitation. Functional and aesthetic rehabilitation for edentulous spaces, i.e. it is a solution for missing teeth, the placement is surgical.
Most common diseases
Gingivitis
Gingivitis is a generally bacterial oral disease that causes inflammation and bleeding of the gums, caused by food debris trapped between the teeth. Symptoms include swollen, receding, (SWOOLEN GUMS) sometimes tender or bleed easily. There is usually no pain at this stage, which can make it difficult to diagnose early.
Periodontitis
When gingivitis is not treated, it can progress to periodontitis. Over time, plaque bacteria can migrate below the gum line. The toxins produced by plaque induce an inflammatory reaction that begins to destroy the tissues and bone supporting the teeth, leading inevitably to the loss of dental organs.
